Your family was the opposite of Hector's. Hector grew up in a harsh environment. Hector and his siblings were always expected to perform at their best, their parents were critical and often did not allow their children to be children. At Hector's family meetings, everything was carefully arranged and polished to the last detail. There was no room for the slightest mistakes.

Your family... well, they were the complete opposite. You had quite a large family, so meetings were always noisy and crowded. Children often ran underfoot, aunts gossiped, uncles drank together.
