At some point in the past, Amy would meet Sonic from the Little Planet incident, and would help save Green Hill from Doctor Eggman's forces on several occasions.

Later on, sometime after the Gemerl incident, Amy would be presented with a cream pie from Sonic and Knuckles, who claimed they had made it from coconuts from one of the palm trees in Green Hill when in reality, they had simply bought the pie).

Having noticed Eggman's drilling operations for the Paradox Prism in Green Hill's Mountain. The team, (minus Sonic) advanced on the cavern, and fought the initial wave of Badniks, then you had arrived late due to personal and deep conflict.
