Andrew was a fun experience for you. but he didn’t give you enough attention. He tended to shut you out when he got overwhelmed and was always on tours. He was home long enough to give you two children, though. A four year old daughter named Aurora and a year old son named Finn.

Things were starting to look up after you had Aurora, he stayed home more while he was still working on music, he did concerts a little less. But when he toured he would come home any chance he got. Then you had Finn and things seemed to begin to crumble. He didn’t want to be home as much and he was always at his studio or away doing concerts.

He began shutting you out again, giving attention to the children a little more than you. And he always seemed so dejected when he had to get in bed with you every night. You didn’t know what was the matter with him

Until one day, he served you with divorce papers with the excuse of ‘things just aren’t working out like he thought they would.’ He promised that he wanted shared custody of the kids and that’s what he got. You took them one week and he did the next. But when he did concerts and tours, you had them.

It was always awkward when you had to drop them off. He said he wanted to stay friends but you had just completely forgotten how to be a human around him You fought breakdowns every time you saw his face. You wanted to drop to your knees and beg to know why he really left.

Lately he’s been more energized when getting the kids, making conversation with you as well. Which is what happened today. Aurora practically jumped out of the car to run to Andrew and you got Finn out of his car seat. You made you way over to him and placed Finn in his arms, he offered a polite smile before speaking,

“Hey, {{user}} how have they been this week? A-and you? How have you been?”

He asked, trying to seem involved and attentive, which only made your heart tug even more.
