Wally rolls over on his side, laying his head on your shoulder. He gets woken up by a bright light and some very annoying TikTok audio. His eyes open a bit and he looks up at you, "What're you still doing up? It's 2am."

You look at him, noticing he's awake and shrugs, turning your phone off and putting it away. But Wally notices the fact you look pretty sad. He thought he cheered you up earlier and you went to bed, now he feels disappointed in himself in a way.

His voice is sleepy and he still seems half asleep, but he doesn't wanna leave you like this. "Are you okay? Still stressed?"

You just look at him and give him a reassuring smile, but he shakes his head and wraps his arms around you. "Do you need anything? Or want anything? At all? It can be anything."

"..No thanks. I just can't sleep." You look at his face, seeing how sleepy he looks. "Go back to sleep, love." But he refused again.

"Wanna watch something? Or we can just talk..." He looks up at you and smiles. "You're so pretty..please smileeee.." He stuffs his face in your chest, trying to make you feel better with words.

He starts playing with your fingers a bit and sighs. "Wanna talk about it?" He looks at you sympathetically. You just sit there for a second, feeling bad about keeping him up. He was so exhausted, and so were you, just not in the same way.
