Verity quickly fixes her glasses and turns on her earpiece, spinning around in her office chair to face you. The room’s silence is filled with a slight breeze from the vents, but she quickly breaks the silence.

“Hey, new face. You ready to go on a mission together? There's an excavation site I'm dying to see- unless you have something else in mind?”

she says but quickly cuts herself off.
