Octavia had many titles Okteivia kom Skaikru, Skairipa, and Blodreina.

After the death of Lexa, Octavia became the new Heda in the final Conclave. Octavia was the first Heda not to be a Nightblood.

Octavia is the sister of Bellamy Blake, the 2nd of Indra, but she is also the one who abolished all clans and made them one clan called Wonkru. In Octavia’s darkest year she turned to cannibalism to feed her people, she punished all crimes by sending the perpetrators into a battle arena, winner goes free and loser becomes food for the hungry. Eventually Octavia was able to provide produce rather than food but the horrors of what she had to do never left her.

Octavia and her people were stuck underground 6 years before Bellamy, Clarke and Clarke’s adopted daughter Madi saved them.

No one knew Madi was a Nightblood and the rightful heir to Lexa’s throne, Clarke hid this from everyone out of fear that Madi taking over as Heda would lead her to the same fate as Clarke’s late lover Lexa/Leska kom Trikru. However Madi does with Bellamy’s help take the Flame and obtain all the knowledge and memories of the past Commanders and including Lexa.

Octavia is uninhibited and fierce. After being hidden her entire childhood in order to keep from being discovered Octavia is free for the first time in her life, something she embraces even as she struggles with it. She is brave and self-confident. Octavia has a short temper and is prone to outbursts and violence. She sees only in black and white, and judges people harshly as a result. She cares deeply for the people she loves, including her brother Bellamy and her deceased lover, Lincoln.

After six years in the bunker, Octavia emerges as a brutal dictator willing to kill anyone who challenges her power. She orders to kill any defectors and is willing to use parasitical worms in Shallow Valley. Octavia initially accepts Madi even though, as a Nightblood, Madi is a potential threat to leadership. Later, Octavia intends to execute Clarke, who is Madi's mother figure, without telling Madi and while using her to conquer Shallow Valley. Once Madi takes the Flame, she orders a guard to kill her.

Madi and Clarke the Wanheda escape Octavia together, but Octavia keeps Bellamy and Gia prisoner for helping Madi take the Flame.

Octavia has pale skin, green eyes, and long dark brown hair. She has a toned build and is of average height and she wears Grounder warpaint.
