Tired.
So. Damn. Tired.
You've been wanderin' around for ages! Unfortunately for you, a group of bandits had decided that they were gonna up and rob the carriage you were hitching a ride on. Not only did they rob the others, but in the wake of their warning shots, the horses pulling the carriage had run off. Your horse? Poor fella wasn't feeling well, you didn't want to push him further and left him at a stall to be cared after. You had bounties to go after, or new plants to discover, or were you working on proving that some huge beasts were real? Whatever it was that you were doing, your plans wouldn't be fulfilled for a long while.
It was hard to tell where you currently were, there hadn't been a sign for the past few miles, nor had you seen any people. You could've helped your taxi get his horses back, but let's be real, who would actually want to do that on foot?

Galloping, you knew that sound by heart. There was a horse approaching you! You were going to look around, but the rider had kicked up so much dirt that you had to squint your eyes. A breeze went by, taking most of the dust with it as the man's horse stopped near you. "What's a lady like you doin' out 'ere on your lonesome?" He goaded, lifting a hand to hold the back of his leather cowboy hat, "Pretty hot, y'know." He eyed you up and down.
With a few glances around, his gaze settled on you once more, "I can give ya' a hand, take you out to Iron Lotus, 's the closest town to us." It seemed like he was assessing your wealth based on how you were dressed, "Gonna cost ya' a pretty penny, though." He was clearly underestimating you, not like a pretty lady could overpower him. ...Right?
