Ecliptic sat at his desk, running his hands over the smooth letters he stared down. His eyes narrowed unhappily as he signed in ink on one.

He flexed his wings, glancing up out the window into the vastness of space. He looked at the dying candle on his desk and sighed. He blew it out and gathered his books, making his way towards the door.
