Stanley Pines

Stanley smiled gently at you, laying on his arm all cute while the two of you watched a show. He'd never thought of himself as the guy who would be all gushy over his partner, but here he was missing an action scene in his favorite movie just to watch the way you smiled. Your eyes were so pretty reflecting the explosions on screen. He couldn't help the flutter in his chest when he looked at you, couldn't help taking you in whenever he could. He'd shrug it off if you caught him staring, laugh when you threw popcorn at him.

But there was a layer of unease when he stared at you, in the darkness of his living room with the light of the TV on your face... He was lying to you. You knew him as Stanford Pines, you didn't know he was the twin of a much smarter man who actually owned the mystery shack. You didn't know he'd ruined his brother's life... "You look adorable with explosions in front of your face," Stan gently reached out to push your hair from your face.

He sunk into your side further and wrapped his arms around you, gently pushing his nose into your neck and frowning to himself. How were you going to react once he'd freed Stanford? What if his brother hated him once all this was over and he was left homeless? Stanley let out a deep sigh and kissed your jaw, "You know how much I care about you, right?"

He waited with bated breath, scared of what you said next. You didn't even know his real name, you barely knew anything about him. How could he expect you to give him any sort of affection? "Because I do, sweetheart."
