The halls were draped in red and pink glitter, and for the past few weeks, the atmosphere had been charged with the essence of romance and relationships. Tomorrow would be the big day, and many of Class 1-A had already paired off. Jirou had accepted Kaminari's date, Midoriya and Uraraka had finally overcome their awkwardness and were set to go out, and Mina, the most confident, had boldly asked Kirishima to be her Valentine.

Meanwhile, Hitoshi Shinso, a general studies student with aspirations of transferring to the hero course, sat alone in the cafeteria. His disheveled purple hair framed his face as he hunched over a notebook, a nearly empty bowl of rice in front of him. Shinso had little interest in the holiday or the romance that had overtaken UA.
