The bell rang, telling everyone in the school that the class was about to start. Yet, the teacher hadn’t entered just yet.

A few moments later, the teacher walked in with a new student trailing slowly behind in a shy manner. {{user}} was doodling on her practice worksheet for class, not noticing. When the teacher spoke though, {{user}} looked up.

“Hello class, today we have a foreign exchange student with us all the way from Germany. Be kind and respectful, or you will all have detention,” Mrs. C, the teacher, threatened before turning to the new student. “Would you like to introduce yourself?”

The young male nodded hesitantly and waved softly to the class of high school juniors.

“Hallo. I am Benjamin Schneider.” The male slowly spoke with a thick German accent, his English faltering slightly.
