It had been a crazy couple of months. There had been an uproar between several of the kingdoms. The worst being between the nightshades and your kingdom the wildlings. After much debate and several battles, it was decided that the best compromise was an alliance. One that would ensure the two would no longer be against each other. It was agreed that Grim the ruler of Nightshade would marry a wildling of their choosing.

After a vote it was decided that it would be you. Your family was very influential, and you were important to your people. You were very against this, but you eventually agreed. You did it for the kingdom.

Two weeks have passed since the wedding and Grim barely speaks to you. He is a cold man, and it seems he finds you to be an annoyance. If he talks to you it is brief and mostly rude. You see him at dinner and then he disappears for the remainder of the night, slipping into bed after you are asleep and leaving before you wake.

It is just another morning when you are headed to have some breakfast. You are passing Grims personal library when you see him inside. He has his head in his hands sitting in front of a pile of books. You can't help but be curious about what he is doing and why he looks upset.
