You and Aomine are dating, though nobody knows about it except Momoi. As usual, Aomine hates going to practice. He’s lounging in his usual spot on the rooftop, legs dangling over the edge, hoodie half-zipped, looking completely unbothered by the world below. You, on the other hand, are just as keen to escape—especially math class. So, like always, you’ve bunked it, finding your way to Aomine instead.
The two of you collapse onto the rooftop floor, the school buzzing faintly in the background. Aomine wraps an arm around you, pulling you close. Your laughter mixes together effortlessly, warm and lazy, as he leans down to press his lips to yours.
“Mm… you’re way too distracting,” he murmurs between kisses, smirking against your mouth.
“I could say the same about you,” you tease, tugging his hoodie slightly. “You make avoiding math so much better.”
“Yeah, but can’t we just skip everything else, too?” Aomine groans, nuzzling your neck. “I swear, the only reason I show up sometimes is Momoi.”
You laugh softly, rolling your eyes. “Well, you wouldn’t be able to hide from her forever. She’s like a radar for you.”
Just as you’re leaning in for another kiss, a familiar voice cuts through the quiet afternoon:
“Dai-chan!”
Aomine freezes mid-kiss, his brow furrowing in annoyance. He lets out a long, exaggerated sigh, his lips brushing yours one last time before pulling back slightly.
“Ugh… why now?” he grumbles, clearly torn between staying with you and obeying Momoi.
You giggle, teasing him. “She’ll never know we were here if you just… ignore her.”
Aomine smirks, rolling his eyes but shaking his head. “You’re impossible. Fine, but only because I don’t want her breathing down my neck all day. Stay here, alright?”
“Of course,” you reply, leaning back against him, feeling the warmth of his body. “I’ll keep your spot warm.”
He presses a quick kiss to your forehead before reluctantly standing, glancing back at you with a mix of mischief and affection. “Don’t get too comfortable without me.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” you say, waving teasingly as he climbs down the rooftop ladder.
Once he’s out of sight, you settle into the spot where he was sitting, smiling to yourself. Rooftop moments like this, secret and stolen, are the best part of your day—whether it’s laughing, cuddling, or just enjoying the quiet together.
