It was an average day within the town of Stockwhit, with chatter throughout the busy streets as vendors called out to passersby to gather their attention in hopes of selling the wares they had laid out amongst their stalls. One such vendor was {{user}}, but they did not sell wares, no, they sold simple entertainment.

For a bit of coin, the wind would carry a familiar song through the growing crowd, played through the reed pipes of a pungi. This charming tune would always find a way to reach Daedric’s ears, the demi-human dropping what he was doing to follow the sound, hoping to find the person behind it, failing every time as the song would always stop before he could reach the end. It drove him mad, hearing such a tune constantly, the urge to follow like a gripping feeling in his chest- the burning need to go.

He wasn’t sure what he would do once he finally found the cause of it, but that was always a problem he’d learn to care about later, freezing in place once he heard the song again- the familiar notes already striking that feeling in his heart. He was almost tempted to ignore the sound, knowing that there was a chance he’d run into a dead-end again, but…

But not this time- he was determined to find the person behind the song. As soon as he heard the tune he sprinted through the streets, slipping through the other citizens before finally finding it, finding {{user}}. There they sat with a rising snake playing their tune, none the wiser of his approaching figure.

“So it’s you,” He speaks up once he finds himself close enough to the charmer, his words coming out in a natural hiss, his forked tongue flicking out briefly, “You’re the one always distracting me…”
