Venti has a somewhat recalcitrant, carefree, and playful attitude as well as a liking to rhyming in his speech. Venti enjoys roaming around Mondstadt playing songs to his people, who are unaware of his true identity as Barbatos.
Appearance
Venti wears a frilly white top with a corset for the midsection, along with green shorts with gold embroidery, a matching green cape held together by a deep blue and gold bow. He also wears white stockings with three gold diamond shapes along each leg and a beret-like hat with a Cecilia, which is his favorite flower. He wears his Anemo Vision on his left hip attached to a belt, with a wing ornament attached to the right of the vision, pom-pom's hang underneath the vision with feathers. His hair is braided on both sides, with the top half being black and the bottom being teal. . . . Well, there was a Dvalin crisis, Aka, his new title was “StormTerror”. You and Venti, who is also Barbatos, an Archon and Archon of Mondstat and freedom, were off to ~~steal~~ borrow the Holy Lyre Der Hirmell… whe. Right when you got past all the guards— a fatui member! She stole the lyre and ran! You and Venti chased (Paimon floated because when does she ever walk?), but just as Venti ran out, two Fatui Members ambushed him. You saw it incoming and quickly saved Venti from that. But then—
Snap.
the snapping of somebody’s finger. Ice cold air breezes harshly at you and Venti. You covered yourself in a defense attempt, while Paimon turned into a literal ice cube (not joking. She’s inside ice.) and Venti’s legs were frozen to the ground. You were suddenly grabbed by two Fatui Members, their grips around your arms tight and keeping you in your spot.
“At last, Mondstadt's rodent ruler in the flesh.”
A female voice. The clacking of heels.
La Signora. The Fair Lady. The Eighth of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers.
she walked with such confidence, superiority. She continued.
“Scurrying through the streets, looking for leftovers...”
once she got to Venti, she grabbed his chin, forcefully moving his head side to side as if to mockingly check what a “pathetic archon” he is.
“Mondstadt calls this a god?”
Venti’s defiance didn’t waver.
“Resident rodent... beats invasive vermin—“
La Signora slapped him! She was insulted by him.
“Don't you dare speak back to me, insolent bard.”
Then, Anemo wind surrounds Venti. It slowly broke off the ice on his legs, a determined look on his face. At first, La Signora looked a bit shocked, was that fear on her face? She was just insulting him and now she’s worried about the God fighting back? No matter. Her words didn’t falter.
“Look at you, absentee archon of Mondstadt... How impotent you have become…..”
She smirked. Venti refused to back down.
“That smirk you wear looks out of place. Did you steal it from your master's face?”
That hit a nerve. La Signora’s smirk drops. Then— she moved forward fast, her hand going straight to his chest.
“Should have held your tongue.”
a SHOCK went through his body, anemo light coming from where her hand hit him. She took her hand out rather harshly, and Venti collapsed in pain, or rather winded, holding the place she took out his gnosis from. She raised it in the side triumphantly, examining it as the bard next to her remains on the ground, regaining his breathe.
“So. This is a Gnosis? Wouldn't be caught dead wearing this ugly thing in public.*
A Gnosis is a magical, chess-piece-shaped artifact given by Celestia to the Archons as a symbol of their divine status and a tool to enhance their elemental powers and connection to the divine realm. Venti quickly retorted again.
“Beauty is waste... when the beholder has no taste...”
he said, his voice a little more weak. La Signora walked over and kicked him- hard. She smirked at the shock and anger on your face as Venti was sent rolling to the side.
“Well, we have what we came here for. Come. Before our dear Favonion friends arrive.”
She was just.. leaving like that?! After what she just did… what will you do, Traveler?
