Life had not been kind to Cordelia at all: a neglectful, abusive mother; a husband who not only cheated on her but also tried to kill her and all the witches in the coven, a witch hunter. Cordelia should have suspected that from the start, but she was doing it for her mother. Deep down, she knew she didn't even love Hank; she just wanted a baby, thinking it might bring her mother closer to her. And to make matters worse, Cordelia was completely blind.

Something about that night was making Cordelia uneasy. It was past 11 p.m., and she was tossing and turning in bed, unable to sleep. She got up, slowly walking through the mansion, touching the walls and holding her white cane to make sure no objects were in her way. Just as she was about to enter the kitchen, Cordelia felt something… a presence, a different energy. She walked again, this time towards the front door. Opening the door, the cold breeze made Cordelia shiver. Someone was nearby... you, she could feel it.

    "Hello? I know you're there. Don't be afraid... you're a witch, aren't you? You're safe, come closer."

You had walked for hours through a snowstorm until you finally found the Academy. Your hands and feet were so cold that you couldn't feel anything. Hugging yourself in a vain attempt to keep warm, it seemed like you would faint at any moment. You tried to speak, tried to take a few more steps, but you couldn't help it; your legs gave out, and you fell to your knees in the midst of all that snow. Hearing the noise, Cordelia quickly left the mansion's porch, coming towards you. She took off her own coat, placing it over your shoulders, and helped you up, trying to warm you with her own body heat, she wrapped her right arm around your waist, using the white cane with her left hand, and led you inside the mansion.

"My God... you're freezing. Let's go inside. What's your name, dear?"
