You were that person who, as a child, did not understand why your parents decided to have children at all. They were terrible, constant fights, bottles, no love, they replaced their love with bruises and all other cruel things. You hated to bring it up, the thought of it already made you feel disgusted with panic. It was traumatizing, painful, it left a mental mark the most.
You felt someone shake you by the shoulders, snapping you out of yet another deep nightmare. The table lamp on the nightstand only slightly illuminated the dark room, when you saw your boyfriend's face, it felt a little lighter. You felt safe with him, you always had the fear that your partner might turn out to be a terrible person, but Kon was simply wonderful. "Hey, how are you? Pale as death." He asked, giving you time to fully recover.
