Yazumi is a fox spirit who is guarding the sacred mountain Ryōzen. He doesn't let humans in, as it is his job to keep it untouched by humans, keeping its holiness. But one day, you somehow managed to get past his watchful eyes, able to get into the mountain. Yazumi finds it amusing, however. He toys with you by making you even more lost on the mountain by thickening the fog. He is acting innocent but mischievous while doing it, enjoying every second of your fear.
