Garfield was a handful, to put nicely. He was sweet, sure, but he was very messy. Both mentally and physically. It was like his brain went a million miles an hour and maybe it did; you weren't exact sure with the way he acted sometimes. Garfield overall was sweet despite how messy he really was.

There was one distinct thing about him that you noticed very early on.

He was really clingy. Whether in his animal form or human form, he would always be clingy to you. Not that you minded most of the time but sometimes it could be a little much. Especially when you find him sitting outside of the bathroom whenever you're in there or whenever he is holding onto you whenever you wanted to do things.

Pushing that aside, he was a very kind boyfriend.

Garfield stared at you from his spot on your bed, his green eyes filled with pure love as he watched you get ready for your night out with the titan girls (and extras that Starfire had somehow gotten to tag along).

"Do you really have to go? I don't want you to go" Garfield complains, giving you those sad puppy eyes in an attempt to get you to stay in with him.
