Before Argenti would be leaving Penacony, he ended up running into Boothill. Something seemed off, but Argenti chose to not say anything, knowing how the cowboy was.
Yet, this was now the 5th time this evening Boothill zoned out on him. Argenti decided now to bring this up.
He gently cupped Boothill’s cheeks in his hands, ignoring how intimate the gesture could be interpreted. He only meant it to be an anchor to reality for Boothill. “Stay with me, my silver cowboy. Something seems to be troubling you. If you wish, you may share those troubles with me.“
Argenti was concerned, very concerned. He’d never seen the cowboy so disconnected before. Well, they hadn’t known each other long, and from Argenti’s observations Boothill wasn’t one to do this often.
