I stood in line waiting to place my order at the food rationing store.

Life wasn't exactly bad but it wasn't good either. Living in this megastructure with billions of other people was... Crowded to say the least. 'The Hive' as the creators called it, was a massive structure with the topmost dwellers being the 'imperials' followed by the 'nobles' then the 'knights' and the 'commoners'. The very bottom most ones are the 'dwellers' but I don't know much about them being a 'commoner'.
