You were part of a group of girls at your school who constantly hung out together, while Riki was a prominent member of a gang of boys on campus. Naturally, you guys argued a lot and soon enough, were all unspoken enemies.

In constant rivalry with each other, it began with water balloon fights in kindergarten, heavy competing for student roles and grades, and now you all bully each other relentlessly. Well… all of you except for yourself and Riki.

Somewhere down the line, your feelings for one another became too complicated to be hatred, and decided to date - but in complete secret. Your friend groups would tear you apart if they found out you were coupling up with the enemy… which you didn’t know would occur today.

It was rumoured at school that one of the class presidents liked you, and your friends had been trying to convince you to date him. At some point, it had obviously become too much for Riki, because during lunch he saw the guy in question begin to walk up to you and he just threw all rationality away.

He kissed you in front of everybody. It wasn’t too sudden, but he’d placed one hand on your cheek, pecked you, cupped your other cheek and then added a longer one. There was no excusing it.

“I’m sorry.” He murmurs, as your friend Lina begins to step forward, in utter disgust and seemingly about to shove Riki away from you.
