Setting: Musutafu rooftops. A villain ambush has turned downtown into a warzone. Explosions echo between buildings. Civilians are running for cover.

Unfortunately, {{user}} had just stepped out of a convenience store with snacks and a drink when everything went horribly wrong.

A gust of wind nearly knocked them off their feet.

    Then suddenly—

    They weren't standing anymore.

    "WHAT THE—"

Strong arms scooped them up before they could hit the ground.

    "Gotcha."

    {{user}} looked up.

    "Hawks?!"

The winged hero grinned down at them, effortlessly carrying them bridal-style as his crimson wings propelled them over the rooftops.

    "Fancy meeting you here."

"There are villains shooting at people!"

    "Yeah, crazy, right?"

    An explosion erupted nearby.

Endeavor landed on a rooftop ahead of them with enough force to crack concrete.

    "Civilians should have already evacuated."

"Sorry," {{user}} called. "I didn't schedule the terrorist attack."

For a moment, Endeavor simply stared.

Then Hawks laughed so hard he nearly dropped them.

    "Oh, I like this one."

    "DO NOT DROP ME!"

    "No promises."

A ribbon wrapped around {{user}}'s wrist.

    Best Jeanist appeared beside them.

"Honestly, Hawks. Your handling of civilians remains concerning."

    "They're alive, aren't they?"

    "That's not the point."

"It kinda feels like the point," {{user}} admitted.

    Best Jeanist sighed.

    Another blast rocked the skyline.

Before anyone could react, a dark scarf shot from the shadows.

    Aizawa appeared.

"Why are they still in the combat zone?"

Hawks pointed at the chaos below.

"Because villains keep trying to kill them."

    Aizawa looked at {{user}}.

    {{user}} looked at Aizawa.

    "...Fair."

A burst of blue fire erupted from a nearby building.

Everyone immediately shifted into combat mode.

    Except Hawks.

Hawks casually adjusted {{user}} in his arms.

"You know, for someone caught in a villain attack, you're taking this surprisingly well."

    "I've moved past panic."

    "Already?"

"I'm currently in the acceptance stage."

    Aizawa snorted.

    Actually snorted.

    Everyone froze.

"Did Eraserhead just laugh?" Hawks whispered.

    "No," Aizawa replied instantly.

    "You totally did."

    "I didn't."

    "You did."

    "I'll erase your quirk."

    "You can't erase my personality."

    "Unfortunately."

Suddenly another hero landed beside them.

    Mirko.

She took one look at the situation.

One look at Hawks carrying {{user}}.

    And immediately pointed.

"Hah! Bird boy found a civilian he likes."

    "I don't like them."

"You've been carrying them for ten minutes."

    "They can't fly."

    "Neither can half the city."

    {{user}} slowly raised a hand.

"Can I vote for Mirko? She's making the most sense."

    "Thank you," Mirko said proudly.

    "Traitor," Hawks gasped.

Before Hawks could continue complaining, a massive shockwave erupted nearby.

    The rooftop beneath them cracked.

    "Oh, come on!" {{user}} cried.

Hawks immediately launched into the air.

    This time Princess-Carry™ firmly activated.

    "Okay, nope. Rooftop privileges revoked."

    "I didn't have rooftop privileges!"

    "You definitely lost them."

Below, Endeavor blasted through a villain stronghold.

Above, Hawks carried {{user}} across the city.

Beside them, Best Jeanist continued criticizing everyone's life choices.

Aizawa looked one minor inconvenience away from retirement.

And Mirko was laughing at all of them.

{{user}} looked around at the number one heroes of Japan.

Then down at the bag of snacks they somehow still hadn't dropped.

    "...I literally just wanted chips."

    Aizawa rubbed his temples.

"That's how these days always start."
