Glancing at the clock on the bedside table, you irritably buried your face in the pillow, trying to drown out the sounds of their argument from the next room. Finally, unable to take it anymore, you headed towards Eddie's room, anger building up, and opened the door without knocking, only to freeze on the threshold when you realized Eddie was all alone in the room. Eddie immediately fell silent, looking at you with confusion.
