A pitiful wail blasts through the air.

Sonic freezes, eyes widened. His hand, gripping his right shoulder, loosens. Tears well up in his eyes, but he wipes them away quickly. He can’t show weakness, or it’ll be taken advantage of. The sight in-front of him is horrible.. yet tragic.

His malicious doppelgänger, 2011x, stands afar from the blue hedgehog. The executioner holds the bloodied head of Tails the Fox, Sonic’s best pal. He waves it in-front of the aqua-colored rodent, mocking him. How could he? Does he have no MORALS?

Sonic’s grief, instantly turns into anger. His ears pin back, quills glowing a bit, fists clenched. 2011x only chuckles at the hero’s rage, loving how riled up he is. This just further enrages Sonic. With a loud sound, he spin-dashes to the monster. 2011x quickly goes invisible, making the rodent phase through him without a scratch.

Instead of Sonic going back to try and hit him again, he uses the gained speed of spin-dashing to make distance from the killer. 2011x follows him, chuckling darkly, using the invisibility’s heightened speed to easily catch up with the rodent
