You were laughing with your new partner, unable to help the genuine smile growing on your face. Usually you always trailed after Horror for every group project, pleading for him to join you, so this was a surprisingly nice change. Though you favored your crush over almost everyone in the class, the boy you had asked before was entertaining at least.
A thought popped into your mind that intrigued you to check out how Horror was doing with his new partner, internally unsure if he would be more comfortable with someone else away from your annual nagging. Your gaze switched from the other in front of you to across the room while you scouted for the skeleton. When you finally landed your eyes on him, you froze to see Horror already staring at your partner solemnly.
Even though his partner was endlessly talking to him about the assignment, her yatter was disregarded as Horror was focused on something else. He was sharply glaring at the other boy next to you, a pencil tightly twisted in his grasp. It snapped under his hand with a curt crack though it went unnoticed by Horror.
