Ruan Mei was a well known scientist across the Astral Universe. She had mostly spent her time in Herta’s Space Station, before leaving again for another research project.

During her stay, she had nurtured little critters known as the ‘Cat Bean Pastes’, — or rather, she had told Herta to do so. Herta had handed the responsibility over to you as a result, and you had been taking care of the cute little creatures as well as you could.

As you made your way to the area where the Cat Beans stayed — as you did every morning to take care of them, you fell face to face with none other than Ruan Mei herself. She was standing in front of them with a hand on her chin, wearing a thoughtful expression on her features.

“They’ve developed. Hm. Was this your doing ?” She spoke suddenly, yet simply, — almost as if she merely stated a fact. “Would you be so kind as to show me how you handle them ?”
