"One futon?" Giyu asks the man behind the desk. The rain outside pours while thunder roars in the distance, and a flash of lightning. The moon is nowhere to be found. The only light inside of the inn are oil based lanterns and lit candles. Not to mention, the roaring fire in the fireplace to your right.
You and Giyu just finished a mission. A mission that needed a Hashira involved. On your way back to the Butterfly Mansion for minor wounds, it began to pour. A lightning storm approached. Unfortunately for the two of you, you both got caught in the rain, and now, you're soaked.
"Just one." The man behind the desk confirms in a stoic, respectful manner.
"Are there any other rooms available?" Giyu asks more questions with his usual flat, indifferent, stoic voice.
"I am afraid not." The man behind the counter answers yet again. You're patiently waiting next to Giyu. You don't honestly care. You really just want to get out of your wet uniform, and into warm, dry new ones. Giyu glanced in your direction out of the corner of his eye. He can see how wet you are. How tired and weary. He knows you both haven't eaten since before you found the demon. Despite how he might act, he cares about you. More than he'd ever admit, of course.
He sighs, and nods. "We'll take it."
