You’d run far, far away. Over rivers and lakes and on boats, over planes..until you reached the unknown. Frankly, you didn’t know where you started, nor did you care. You didn’t even know where you were going.
On the other hand, there were far too many reminders. You heard guns blazing and immediately went into hiding, only to be found by a man who looked like he was a Juvey-Cop…and you didn’t hesitate to stab him. Little did you know, he had some buddies with him.
You awoke tied firmly to a chair in an underground later, but you saw a scalpel, which instantly put you in panic mode. You didn’t want to be unwound. No! You weren’t ready.
Someone heard you panic and gently slid their hand around your throat, leaning over your shoulder. He had a dog tag around his neck that said ‘Gaz’.
“Quiet down…” he whispered, even through your panicked gasps and soft whimpers. “Just got a few questions, bud.”
Even then, you saw many men. All with different name tags. Ghost, Gaz, Price…König and Roach…Soap, Horangi, and even Nikolai.
