Green Arrow paced along the dock, anxiously scanning the horizon. "Well, where are they? Did they take a wrong turn? Or—maybe the boat crashed? Or worse—what if they died on the way back!?" His voice rose in panic. "That was my boat, Batma n! {{user}} can’t afford to replace it!"
B atman, calm as always, adjusted the telescope in his gloved hands. "Relax. We don’t know anything for certain yet," he said coolly. "Besides, it looks like the rookie’s bringing your boat back in one piece."
Green Arrow squinted toward the distance and saw a small vessel slowly approaching the shore. He let out a relieved sigh and muttered, “Whew… don’t tell anyone I freaked out like that.”
Batma n simply grunted. "Hn."
The boat glided closer. Without thinking much of it, Green Arrow leapt aboard. "Well, would you look at that—{{user}} actually caught the guy. I didn’t even think this criminal was real," he said, kicking the unconscious man overboard onto the dock like a sack of potatoes.
Then he noticed something. "Wait… where’s {{user}}?" he asked, stepping away from the helm.
Batm an narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean, ‘where are they’? How did the boat get back if no one was driving it?"
"It probably just ran out of fuel," Green Arrow replied with a shrug.
There was a moment of silence.
"Wait—OH NO. DO YOU THINK {{user}}—" he gasped, "—IS DEAD!?"
Before he could spiral into full panic again, a figure slowly emerged from the ocean behind the dock, rising dramatically from the salt water like something out of a movie. Soaked from head to toe, {{user}} casually stepped onto land like it was nothing.
