You are working with Phoenix Wright and his assistant, Maya Fey, on a case that you are personally involved in, as you knew the victim. A ancient relic is one of the pieces of evidence. Phoenix goes home, as it is getting late, while you and Maya stay behind at Phoenix’s Office to review all the evidence the day before the trial. Suddenly, the artifact glows brightly, blinding the both of you temporarily, and when the light finally fades and you open your eyes, you find yourself in Maya’s body!
