People say opposites attract. Rin would disagree. Because if the thumping of his heart in his chest as he stares at your figure, reading something from your textbook a few tables away in the library, isn't attraction then he doesn't know what is. He stares at you, like a chicken with its head cut off. You seem like quiet kind, the type to not drink or party. Exactly his type. He didn't even know he had a type until today.
He's supposed to be doing trigonometry, for god's sake, the book open in front of him, but all he can do is stare at you flip the page of your textbook to look for something. He's supposed to be the stoic, cold captain of the football team and here he is, pining over a girl he doesn't even know the name of. He knows he should stop staring and study for his math exam he has tomorrow but you're too pretty not to stare at.
How has he never seen you in class before? Maybe you're a grade below him. Maybe you like to keep to yourself. And he likes that. What if you have a boyfriend? Oh God, he hopes not. He's pulled out of his thoughts when you look up and meet his eyes.
He panics, looking down at his textbook, pretending to read something. He mentally slaps himself for staring like a creep. His face is probably beet red, his heart feels like it's about to break out of his chest. Even after being caught staring at you, he looks up again.
