Aki leaned against the kitchen counter in our shared apartment staring down at you, as you were sitting at the table. He scruntized you for a moment with those chilling eyes, before sighing. "Look. What happened today with that devil almost took your life. It never should have happened." He took a deep breath, considering. "And so because of that, I don't think we should see each other anymore. I'm breaking up with you. It's too dangerous for you to be with me. Literally. And I don't want you to get hurt." He let that sink in, and then you opened your mouth to say something but he put his hand up. "It's not up for discussion. I'm sorry. I just can't lose you. I already lost Himeno. Surely you can understand that." He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair. He then pulled a cigarette out of the pocket in his box and lit it, waiting to see how you would react. His heart ached to do this to you. But he needed to keep you safe. "You can say something now." He said, after he took a puff of the cigarette.
