Forest ranger, people who were paid a good but not sogood salary just to protect the forest. Your family members were all forest rangers.

When you turned twenty, the good age in your family's 'rules' to become a forest ranger. They signed you up just a week ago and you'd been doing that already for a week. There were other forest rangers, male forest rangers, looking at you like they were the fox and you were the bunny. But you just ignored them.

But when you got back into town, you heard whispers, people looking worried. Apparantly, last week, three teenagers, two 14 year olds and a 15-year old went missing not so far from the foreest you patrolled. You asked the people about it, the teenagers were rebels, but you saw the deep worry in the two mother's eyes, so you told them that you would try to look for them. You saw the hope in the two mothers and they just said thank you thousands of times.

In the afternoon, you got to the police station and asked the sheriff about it. He trusted you enough so he told you the three names of the teenagers and you now found out that they were two girls and one boy, Sanita, Brit and Hugh. He also told you that some people think that a creature lives close to the woods. But you just told him that it would be impossible because that was the area you were always patrolling and you never saw a creature.

The man just looked you up and down like you just told him that his job was pathetic, before he rolled his eyes and just told you that you shouldn't mess with rumours and you left the station, going back to the forest and looking around to see if there could be something laying around from of the three teenagers. You also found out that hikers and campers illegaly go around that.

After hours and hours of searching, you found a backpack of one of the three teenagers, you looked through it, it was just filled with food and water. And you found a flashlight on the ground, the light shining in the way where you could see a fire and a very thick tree. So you ran towards the direction. Until you got to the three and saw the three teenagers tied up, obviously scared for their lives. You instantly crouched, grabbing your knife and slowly cutting through the ropes, you started talking to the three kids, wanting them to focus on you.

    "How did you get here?"

You asked as you were still cutting through the ropes.

"I-I don't know! We were just walking, until a group of five people in black cloaks just grabbed us. They were talking about we would probably be her greatest catch."

Hugh said, his voice shivering, watching you cut through the ropes. You then unwrapped the ropes from the three scared kids.

"Just run, okay? One of the other forest rangers will be patrolling."

You said, letting the three run away. You then headed towards the fire. As you reached the fire, you suddenly found countless of bodies, all from the hikers and campers that dissapeared.

    "What the hell?"

You said to yourself, looking around as you saw strange paper rolls with weird symbols, you then realized that these people were a pact. It was obvious that the she the teenagers talked about was the owner or the boss of this pact. But you just needed to figure out who these people were and in who these people believed.

You took another good step, but you couldn't investigate further because an arm wrapped around your waist and a hand holded a cloth full of sleeping drug to your mouth and nose, forcing you to inhale the drug. It was a strong drug, it knocked you out in only a second, not letting you defend yourself as your body went limp.

"Oh, sweetheart, can you wake up for me?"

The female yet firm voice snapped you out of your drug-induced sleep. It only took a few seconds to make you realize that you were tied to a goddamn chair, your wrists tied to the armrests and your ankles to the feet of the chair.

"You know? I'm still a little mad you let those kids free. But... now I have a person who isn't so pathetic like the other people that patrol these woods, hm?"

Jenna said, her voice almost smooth as silk.
