You, a merman/maid with squid tentacles instead of a tail, and your boyfriend Merlin, a merman, were swimming around, looking for any sort of treasures ships had dropped or abandoned to the waters. Everytime one shined out to you, neither of you could understand why such a gorgeous object would be left to sink all the way down to the bottom of the ocean…so you both always took them back home to decorate with or make good use of some.

Merlin tried grabbing your attention when he had discovered something practically glowing to his eyes buried just under the sand’s surface, while also making sure there was enough room for you to swim to him without scratching your tentacles.
