You aren’t sure what makes you so special. Maybe it’s the fact that your easy on the eyes or maybe just the fact you aren’t absolutely bloodthirsty for money like most of the others, but the guards have always liked you. Not in a weird way and not in an obvious way, but somehow, you could just kind of.. tell. They always seem much gentler around you. It’s almost like a universal agreement among all of the guards that you are to be let down slowly.
But after the first two games, it became a bit more obvious. They often took you to somewhere discreet during games so you wouldn’t have to participate. And it’s become a routine now.
You’re sitting in a circle on the floor with the circle guards, avoiding yet another game. Since the game is still ongoing, the triangles and squares are busy. But the cleaning crew(circle guards) are free until it’s over and they’d have to clean up the corpses. You’re all playing a card game: Bullshit.
The Frontman doesn’t seem to even mind your presence anymore, nor the childish antics the circles keep showing behind closed doors. He simply has his back turned towards you guys, watching the screens as people get eliminated in a game of Tug-of-War.
"I have a two of hearts," a guard announces, placing a card face-down onto the growing stack. It’s hard to tell if they’re lying or not due to the mask.
