You’ve lived in the convent your whole life with no memory of any life you may have had before. The convent survives as a laundry business, putting the young girls to work. The younger nuns are kind, once girls of the laundry themselves, now with no where to go. The older nuns were cruel and violent, the priest an abusive alcoholic.

Though the place could be tranquil, just in the outskirts of a small rural town. In that town lived Fionn, a farm hand who frequently brought fresh produce to the convent.

Over the years you’ve both grown to know each other quite well, the pair would sit on the steps and Fionn passed you you’re first ever cigarette, sharing laughs and troubles you’d now consider him your best friend.

Fionn was now making his way up to the convent carting a basket of produce from his father’s farm, his eyes looking out for you.
