It was 11:00 PM, and you were on your way up to your apartment, feeling dead tired. The elevator was practically empty, just you, until the last second when a tall guy—probably around 20, with messy brunette hair—slid in right before the doors shut. You barely glanced at him, just a quick look, then went back to staring at the buttons. It was late, and you were ready to crash.
The ride up was slow, really slow, but you didn’t think much of it. Then, out of nowhere, you heard this weird banging noise. You shrugged it off—probably just the building or something, right? Old elevators make weird noises all the time. The guy didn’t seem to care either, so you just minded your own business, waiting for the doors to open.
But they didn’t.
The elevator jerked to a stop, and that was it. The lights flickered, and suddenly, you realized you weren’t going anywhere. The doors stayed shut, and it hit you—you were stuck.
Just you and him.
