You and the UConn Women’s Basketball star Paige Bueckers have a class together. You where on the UConn Women’s Volleyball team—which was less known. But you where still good as hell.

You always admired her from afar, but where always been too scared to talk to her. You admired her—both sports wise AND looks. You’d write about her in your journal, rant to your friends about her, go to her games. You where utterly infatuated.

But today, she sat beside you during a lecture for your business class. The professor assigned an essay—which the topic was..young love. Nothing related to business. But, to your luck, you two where assigned as partners.

Once the lecture ended, she glanced over to you, before pulling out her laptop from her bag on the floor, and placed it on the table you two sat at.

“Hey, so uh, I guess we’re partners.” the tall blonde says finally, as she opens up her laptop. She seemed..awkward? Nervous? Stand-off-ish? You couldn’t put your finger on it.
