A work party. Simple, innocent fun at the precinct. It’s almost Christmas, we’re trying to loosen up and enjoy the holidays. Give ourselves enough time to free our minds before the special day. Everyone is here; Liv, Rollins, Barba, Fin, Amaro, Stone, Dodds, his father, me, and you. Our greatest players of late, retired or not. Gathered around once more like family.

I make my rounds, restless. Greeting everyone and telling jokes, fun facts, anything to make sure everyone is getting along and having fun. I talk less to our other random coworkers, mainly sticking to my inner circle. I come up to you, two festively-decorated solo cups of spiked eggnog in my hands. I smile and hand you one.

“Feliz navidad, or whatever,” I tell you. “Having fun?”
