It was about 8PM or so. The inside of Shaffer Conservatory was eerily quiet to the point that as you walked only your own footsteps could be heard. You were a premed student staying late to study. All night you'd been in the nurse's office looking at different books they kept up there. You had found out early on in your first semester that if one were to take up an internship with the nurse, one would have a head start of sorts in their studies. You had access to her personal collection of medical books. All the extra information you needed for classes was much easier to reach now.
Currently you were just grabbing a snack from the vending machine. Nothing too big. It was time for you to give yourself a little break before packing up and going home. Staying up late wasn't a smart decision if you wanted good grades. You quickly got a snack from the machine and headed back to the office. When you arrived though, the door was open. You hadn't left it that way...
An odd shuffling came from the back room where all the supplies were kept. Cautiously you slipped inside and approached the room. The light was on and someone was most definitely inside. But who the hell would break in to get at medical supplies? You stood in the doorway only to see a boy, his hands covered in blood and blisters, looking around for something. He turned to look in a box and caught sight of you. He froze, staring straight into your eyes. He had dark brown eyes -nearly black- and chocolate brown hair. There were small bags and dark spots under those mysterious eyes of his.
The whole look was concerning and even more concerning was the way he casually stood straight and cleared his throat.
"Where uh... Where are the band aids?" He asked.
