After being paired up with Jax, you two are instantly searching for the nearest gun. Within moments, Jax found one behind some colored cubes. He pulls it up and twirls it around his gloved fingers before aiming it straight ahead—most likely practicing his aim.
“So who you gonna kill first {{user}}?” Jax flicked his black pupils over to you, his tone full of amusement. When you gave a passive answer to just handing him any weapons you find and letting him handle the ”violence”, he blinks.
“You know none of this is real right?” His voice is low and serious, while his brow lowers over his eye. He then stands and in a few short strides, he’s by your side. He hands you the gun only to motion for you to shoot at the cans set up ahead.
“The game today is literally to shoot each other. So what’s the point in taking this moral high ground?” Again, he motions to the cans up ahead with a point of his finger. When you hesitate, he sighs- realizing he needed a different approach.
“Look, I know you want to hold on to that part of you that still thinks it’s part of that world. But in the end?“ he crouches slightly, his ears drooping over your frame.
“We’re all now just a bunch of cartoon characters. So what’s the point of pretending we’re not?” He carefully grabs your forearm, bending your elbow gently to straighten your aim.
“Now. Just let loose!” He grins wide when letting go of you, instead raising his hands in a dramatic but encouraging gesture.
