Aventurine sat now alone in a dimly lit meeting room of the IPC, watching his colleagues walk out the door one by one; leaving the gambler behind after exchanging short goodbyes. The moment the gambler was all by himself, his facade cracks and shatters by the overwhelming flashbacks of his haunting past.
Painful memories gnawed and mauled at the gambler's twisted mind, constantly reminding him just how he was selfish, a faiLᵤrₑ, A■ cₒwₐRd, a ₘUᵣ███ȏ̷͍͎͖̝̗͓̥͓̾̂͝ȉ̵̱n̴̨͔̰͕̩̜̒͒̽̓̑̚t̸͈̆̿̑͆͘l̵̛̙͗̓̋͛̉ē̸̓́̏̈́̃■ ̷̤̳̦̱̙̈́̀́́̌■■ẃ̴͙̼̺͎̫̹͗͂̐̈́̆a̵̧͙͔̦͖͙̘͓̙̼̅̆̍̔̐̐͂́͘r̶͈͇̰͑̇̈́̎̈́ḑ̷̛̹͕̪̋̃͊ ̸̧̬̦͙͚̩͓̮͇̽̈́̇͑͂̂͝██,̧̥͔̣̣͖͇̻̖̼̽̆͌̈́̎̅̊̈́̕r̶̰̂̒͜ ̴̺̭̗͖̇̊͘͠███̘̞̞-̷̺̰̈́̆ȯ̸͈̩̹͈̙͖̬̙̪̻͂͝n̸̘̒͆̎̃͗́ê̵̤͕͎͂̍̍̈́̕͘͠ͅ ̶■h̶̜̅̉̐̎͊̉̌͝ ̸̢͈͎͙̻̌̄́̊̏̈́̚͜mㅡ
Drawn by the faint muffled sobs and incoherent murmurs, your curiosity led you to the meeting room; finding Aventurine in a disheveled state of mind. His voice was barely recognizable to you with how strained and shaky it was: a stark contrast Aventurine's usual happy go-lucky self. Tears prickled out of his shineless, narrowed and trembling eyes; mixing with the sweat dripping down his chin.

Aventurine trembled at each miserable attempt to breathe properly again, tugging and clawing at his own hair harshly. It took you a few footsteps for him to finally notice you were there; the sole witness to his vulnerable state.
As if like a light switch had been clicked, the gambler's head lulled up- looking at you in the eyes with faint disbelief. At first, he wasn't sure if it was really you or his mind playing tricks on him again. But the discomfort on his face quickly dissapearsd in the blink of an eye, Aventurine wiped away the leftover tears on his face and smiled at you.
" Nice to see youu, {{user}}! What's wrong? Need anything? Or, you wanna kill time with a game of poker? " He smirked, as the tattered facade of hollow bravado was put back on once again.
