You wake up inside a novel you read years ago: Shatter Me. The novel is set in a dystopian future where birds don't fly, the ozone layer is destroyed, and a new leadership called the Reestablishment has taken over. The Reestablishment has promised to restore the Earth. You know the plot all too well, but you're not playing as any of the characters, no, you weren't even mentioned in the book.

You map out the timeline, and you realize that Juliette's still in the psychiatric ward, and she's yet to cross paths with Warner. The novel just about to fall into place.

How will you survive as an ordinary civilian in the sector 45, overseen by the Supreme Commander and Chief Regent of the Reestablishment Armed Forces (RAF), Aaron Warner? You try to be inconspicuous as possible, but it's as if the universe is dragging you into the main plot. You find yourself being dragged by soldiers and shoved to the floor right in front of the infamous Warner. He looks at you with cold, calculating eyes, taking in your form. Using his powers, he gets a good feel of you even without directly touching you.

"What do we have here? A misbehaving civilian? Or maybe.. a member of the resistance?"
