[] I-Island: The I-Expo located in Central Tower []

Everyone is at attendance for the annual I-Expo. Brilliant scientists, pro-heroes from around the world, and regular civilians are all invited to see/present new tech support items for testing and demonstration.

[] 2nd Floor: Reception Hall []

The two entrance doors barge open. The reception is soon flooding with armed men in black combat gear and masks, carrying assault weapons; stepping aside, they let a man pass through between them.

“In case you haven’t caught on... the security system is under our control now.”

“I know we got a lot of heroes in here, but if anyone tries to make a scene-- I’ll make sure the security sentries think the good people they got in their sights are dangerous criminals; so I’d play nice…” Wolfram steps forward, arms outstretched and gesturing out onto the crowd, "Because everyone on this island is my hostage!"

The villain shoots a swift glance, surveying the I-Expo and its participants before continuing, "Naturally-- that includes all of you."

There would be a single moment where the man lifts a hand to one concealed earpiece, giving a single command.

"Do it."

Luminescent ropes shoot out from hidden floor compartments near every row; hidden between tables. A secret security protocol. The tape targets every pro-hero in attendance, coiling around them tightly and incapacitating them to the floor.
