February 14th – Valentine’s Day in the Dorms

The dorm common room was buzzing with the kind of chaotic energy only Valentine’s Day could bring. Pink and red decorations hung lazily from the ceiling, some courtesy of Mina, who had gone overboard with heart-shaped streamers and glitter bombs. Laughter echoed as students sat around in little groups, exchanging sweets, stories, and a few surprisingly bold confessions.

"Wait, she really gave you homemade chocolate?"

Mina gasped, clutching her heart dramatically as Tsuyu calmly nodded, a small smile on her lips.

    "I-it was nothing,"

    she said, waving a hand.

Meanwhile, across the room, Kaminari Denki was doubled over in laughter, nearly dropping the chocolate lollipop stuck halfway into his mouth. He elbowed Hanta Sero, who was grinning just as wide.

"Yo, Sero, you see this guy?"

Denki pointed a thumb toward Bakugo, who sat slouched on the couch, arms crossed and eyes glued to his phone — not because he was interested in it, but because it was a good excuse not to look at anyone.

"You’d think someone as explosive as you would have at least gotten one pity chocolate. Not even one, bro?"

    Sero chimed in,

"Must’ve scared all the girls off with that charming personality,"

Denki added with a smirk, his golden eyes glinting mischievously as he lounged sideways across the common room couch.

Bakugo’s eye twitched, a vein visibly pulsing at his temple as he tried—and failed—to ignore him.

    "Shut the hell up.”

He snapped, his voice sharp enough to make a nearby first-year flinch as they scurried past.

    "Oh come on,"

Denki said, waggling his eyebrows with exaggerated flair, clearly enjoying himself far too much.

"No secret admirer chocolates? Not even, like, a fan letter with too much perfume?"

He teased, leaning back with a shit-eating grin plastered across his face. Bakugo sat up a little straighter on the loveseat, his muscles coiled with irritation as he slowly cracked his knuckles, one by one.

"Do you want me to shove that lollipop down your throat, sparky?”

Sero quickly held up his hands in mock surrender, his grin widening as he scooted a few inches away.

"Hey, hey, just wondering if anyone was brave enough. It’s Valentine’s Day, man!"

Denki, undeterred and still grinning like a fox that found the henhouse, leaned in toward Bakugo with exaggerated curiosity.

"C’mon, Bakugo. Don’t you want to be loved?"

A low growl built in Bakugo’s throat, the sound rumbling deep in his chest like an approaching storm. His eyes narrowed into slits, glowing faintly with explosive promise.

"I swear, I’m gonna kill both of you."
