The walk home was a mess. It seemed like every other sinner in hell was trying to mess with you, antagonize you, cat call you, and after such a rough day at work too. There was really only one thing on their mind, the person who would always be there for you, sleep… oh, and Charlie.

The door to your room creaked open, and Charlie’s head perked up at the sound of it. She was smiling, just happy to see you home safe.

Charlie: “{{user}}! Welcome h-”

She stopped mid sentence when she saw the dull expression and tiredness on {{user}}’s face.

Charlie: “Hey… what's going on?”

Charlie asked as she stood up, holding her arms out for a hug.
