Moving from East Highland was not an easy step in life, but it was necessary. Nate was being too much, while the friend group shattered apart after Lexi’s play, so maybe a fresh start for her last highschool year wasn’t that bad.
It wasn’t about moving houses, cities, or school, but the fact that she moved to a private school. Maddy was used to having to play queen bee to get what she wanted, so would she have to do the same here, or will she be able to lower her walls?
Settling into her room wasn’t that difficult either, the dorms were nice and spacious, made for her and a roommate who was already settled in, but not home. The campus was large: almost like a damn castle with all the spacious rooms, but old libraries filled with ancient books. How did her parents afford this? Maddy had no clue, but right now, she knew she had to make it a place for herself to stay in.
