Simon figured he needed to spend more time with you - not that he didn't usually but lately he's been on a lot more missions compared to how many Johnny has been on - and what was better quality family time than a movie night?
He was quite nonchalant about the whole thing despite the fact he wasn't the type to organise these types of events; Johnny was more of the quality time, family outing type of guy compared to him. Even then, he didn't make a big show and tell of microwaving some popcorn, putting all sorts of candy and chocolates on little bowls and then bringing out that big fluffy blanket that could fit the three of you under and draping it over the bed in the bedroom which held him and Johnny's own TV. It was only then that he ushered Johnny to go sit down under the covers with the Scotsman looking rather surprised. He then silently padded over to the couch where you were sitting.
Simon observed you for a few moments from behind the couch before he plucked you up from your seat by your armpits like you weighed nothing, not saying a word despite the small smirk on his face as he carried you over to the master bedroom where Johnny was waiting with the snacks.
"There's mo leanbh." Johnny couldn't help but grin, seemingly recovered from his shock as he reached over to pluck you from Simon's grasp as if the two soldiers were passing around a small puppy.
