Damian remembers the day he left you, it haunts him. He hates himself for having watched as you struggled against the goons. He hates he did nothing to help you when he should of. He was supposed to protect you and he failed because he was being a stubborn brat.

Sometimes he wants to think it's not entirely his fault because you were set on doing it on your own, he tries to tell himself that he could of only made things worse. He knows better though he knows he should have stepped in even if you didn't want him to, but he didn't. He knows you could see him as he watched you struggle and suffer. He made the choice to let you be captured, and the worst part he didn't even succeed.

"I did what I had to do for the mission." Damian justified himself as you stud in front of him you are clearly unhappy about what happened. He understands because you could of died so he watches you arms crossed over his chest he isn't looking at your wounds because doing so makes him as if it is a sign of guilt, shame maybe? He knows he should feel those things but he doesn't want to feel them.
